I recently traveled to Colombia, SA on a mission trip, something I have been doing for many years. Communication there has always been problematic for me in the past because my US carrier provides rather poor, limited, and costly service while I am there. This time, however, I downloaded the YESIM app to my iPhone 11 and for the first time ever I had very good data service connecting with Claro in Colombia. This enabled me to communicate with my friends, airlines, taxis and hotels, even my family back home, using the WhatsApp and Signal apps. It couldn’t have been better. I got a strong signal from Claro while in Medellin and throughout NW Colombia, in Apartadó, Currulao, and even in little communities far off the beaten path. It also worked while in Panama and Costa Rica while waiting for connecting flights. I will definitely use YESIM when I return to Colombia next year and highly recommend the service.

I travel abroad frequently and I find Yesim safe, reliable and easy to use. Also customer support is responsive if any problem should arise for any reason such as difficulty with installing the sim. I had a problem where my phone device was locked by carrier and I didn’t realize before purchasing a plan and they still offered me a full refund even though the fault was of my own so that is also pretty cool bc most companies will not refund you if it’s not their fault.. I really like Yesim and highly recommend it. Far wise as pricing goes, I think they could lower the price a little that’s the only thing I’m not crazy about but other than that, I love Yesim.

I’ve used Yesim during my travels in South Africa and Europe (early 2020). The service works well with newer iPhones and is very inexpensive compared to other eSim providers (paid 6 euro per GB for 30 days). Recommend trying it out to save drastically on your home plans when traveling (often $10 a day with AT&T and Verizon. Just ensure you do have the right settings: make Yesim your cellular data line and do not allow cellular data switching to your primary provider to save costs.
